Bake this simple but delicious sponge cake for Easter finished with creamy frosting and M&M'S® Bunnies

Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/ gas 4. Rub some margarine inside a 26 x 22cm baking tin and line with baking parchment.
Use an electric whisk to beat together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs, milk and vanilla extract until combined, then stir in the self-raising flour. Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 25-35 mins until golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the tin.
To make the icing, beat together the icing sugar and butter with the vanilla extract until smooth. You may need to add a splash of hot water to loosen. Remove the cake from the tin, spread over the buttercream icing, then top with the M&M'S® Bunnies.
